We know how difficult it is to take advantage of some free throws in FIFA 17. That's why we give you the best tips to never miss free kicks.
1) Corners: The title offers a completely new corners system, which is much more effective than the previous one. On this occasion, you will see a mark on the grass that will show you the direction in which the ball will go. In particular, it is great for the more specific centers, such as hanging the ball to the first or second pole. The direction of the ball is thus determined, while the power determines the type of center. If you press the center button slightly, the ball will reach its destination with a very high, balloon-like path, but if you keep it pressed a little more, the center will be more direct and faster. The first type is good for hanging the ball closer to the second goal, away from the goalkeeper, while the direct center is good for first-round specialists.
2) Free throws: Free throws operate in much the same way. Practically. Now you can change the direction and the distance, besides the power of the shot or the form in which you throw it. If you opt for a frontal throw, the ball will not bend and the shot will go up and down (similar to Cristiano Ronaldo's style of shooting). However, if you position the shooter on the same side of the shooting foot (left for the left-handers), you will hit the ball with the outside of the boot, more like the classic Roberto Carlos shot.
3) Side throws: You will now have more options when you take the ball from the side line, such as, forfeit the serve. If you press the fire button and pass at the same time, your player will threaten to take out the ball, which turns out to be a very effective trick against a human opponent. On the other hand, with the left analogue lever, the player can move through the band and, with the right, you can control another player and ask for the ball.
4) Penalties: Penalties are the ones that have changed the most and, as with free throws, you can also decide the direction and distance of the player to the ball. To start running towards the ball, move forward. Then, when you are running, move according to the direction and strength you want to give the ball. It may cost you a little at first, but eventually you'll get used to it.
